Lake Michigan Bike Ride – 2 Days To Go!!!!

When the Gale’s of November come early

The waves on Lake Michigan dropped from 10 foot to 3 feet today. The winds today are still out of the northeast but the wind speed was a manageable 10 mph instead of the 20+ mph it has been for the last 4 days. My GPS was saying the temps were running two degrees warmer than yesterday at 51 degrees but it didn’t feel like it on the lakefront. I think I will revise my route for the two sections going up to Green Bay to be on the bike path instead of on local streets right on the lake. It should be a little warmer and less windy.

Speaking of routes I started to put my route into my biking GPS today. What a disaster. The new Windows 10 browser would not sync with my bike Gramin GPS. After wasting 2 hours trying to download new software while watching the Bears game I broke out my old Windows 7 computer but had some trouble with that computer until I realized I had a bad cable.

I have 3 of the 10 days downloaded. I will download 2 more days tonight and do the rest tomorrow. I wish I knew how to add music to this blog I am listening to “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald “.
